Yes, their self-titled and Toxicity do have elements of that genre and they can be fixed into it, but on the other hand theres a lot of thought that goes into their songs. That album had a couple of decent tunes on it and I liked the title track of Hypnotize but didn't hear anything else from it. Ive always thought System of a Down were criminally underrated and unfairly lumped into Nü Metal. It was all about self titled, Toxicity, and Steal This Album! Gave up on them after Mezmerize (sp?) cause I thought half the songs were shite, that 'my cock is much bigger than yoo-oo-ooooours' tune pissed me off so much. For what its worth Mezmerize/Hynotize practically tie for me. I used to love SOAD back in the day (04). Toxicity is widely regarded as the best album among many fans but theres pure gold in all of them.
